RESOLUTION NO. 2025-____
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MORENO VALLEY, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING OFFER OF
DEDICATION OF OLD PERRIS BOULEVARD (FORMERLY
JUDSON STREET) MADE ON MORENO ACRES MAP FOR
PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES
WHEREAS, offer of dedi cation of all streets for public use was made within the Moreno Acres Map, but not accepted at such time of Map recordation; and WHEREAS, Judson Street was one of said streets that were included in the Moreno Acres Map . Most of Judson Street segments were gradually incorporated into the City’s maintained road system for public use and utility purposes and eventually formed what is known today as Perris Boulevard , except for one segment that remains a private road known today as Old Perris Boulevard; and WHEREAS, it is now in the City’s interest t o accept the offer of dedication for public utility purposes over Old Perris Boulevard , more particularly described in Exhibit “A” attached hereto and made a part hereof, as part of the City’s roadway system; and WHEREAS, the above-described property constitutes only a portion of the real property interests offered for dedication, and the City’s acceptance is limited solely to public utility purposes; and the remaining unaccepted portions of the offers of dedication s hall remain available for acceptance by future action of the City Cou ncil, should such acceptance be desired.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MORENO
VALLEY, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. The offer of Old Perris Boulevard (f ormerly Judson Street) within Moreno Acres Map is hereby accepted for public utility purposes.
2. The City Clerk shall certify to the acceptance of said property and cause said certification to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of the County of Riverside together with this Resolution.
