TITLE SUMMARY: 2026 City Council Appointments

Recommendation(s)
That the City Council:
1.Approve Mayor’s nominations to various advi sory Commissions/Boards, Subcommittees, and Regional Inter -Agency Bodies as noted on the 2026 Council Committee Participation List – Terms end December 31, 2026 (Attachment 1).
2. Adopt a Resolution appointing Council Representatives and Alternates to the March Joint Powers Commissions (Attachment 2).
SUMMARY
The previous Council Committee Participation appointments have come to an end. Mayor Cabrera has compiled the 2026 Council Committee Participation appointments with the terms to end on December 31, 2026 (Attachment 1).

1. Approve a modified version of the proposed Council appointments.
2. Approve a portion of the appointments and consider the remaining appointments at a future meeting.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact associated with this report.
NOTIFICATION
Publication of the agenda.
Attachment 3, Form 806, date d 1-9-2025, lists all paid appointed positions for 2025, in accordance with Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) Regulation 18702.5. The form is posted on the City’s website.
