Recommendation(s)
That the City Council:
1. Receive and file the Moreno Valley Unified School District presentation.
SUMMARY
The City is served by both Moreno Valley Unified School District and Val Verde Unified School District, which are valued partners in educating the youth of our community and contributing to the overall well-being and growth of the City.
Moreno Valley Unified currently operates 40 schools and serves appr oximately 34,000 students as of 2024. The District’s mission is to provide an equitable education for all students to be prepared for college and/or a viable career path for a successful life.
Moreno Valley Unified will provide a presentation to highlight their ongoing work,

initiatives, accomplishments, and community engagement efforts, further strengthening the partnership between the City and the District.
