Andrea Austin
artist
Artists and Art instructor.
I teach instructional art classes for all ages working for the Artists Collective art studio in Corona CA. I spend a lot of my time teaching paint and sip classes at Glen Ivy Hot Springs.
Exhibits I have a been part of many exhibits in Southern California including exhibits at the Ontario Museum of History and Art, The San Bernardino County museum, The Corona Public Library, The Palos Verde Library District, The Riverside Art Scape, and the Corona Art Association.
I was the first place winner for a valentines day art contest for the Forever Wild Animal Sanctuary. I painted an image of their Grizzly Bear, Yara. My painting is up at their facility and you can purchase a t-shirt or hoodie with the image to help raise money for the sanctuary.
I recently taught 2 free to the public art classes for the Palos Verde Library District. The classes were at full capacity at 35 painters per class.
I am also a volunteer baker for Cake4Kids which is a non-profit that bakes desserts for underprivileged and at-risk youth.

Artwork for consideration
Theme is Blending in. I wanted this box to blend into its surroundings. I wanted to create something calm and subtle.
Utility box location
Indian and Ironwood
I created this
painting with the
first box in mind.
This box sits at
an intersection
where 3 corners
are residential.
Behind this box
is a church. I
wanted to
create
something that
would fit into its
environment.
Artwork will be donated to the city of Moreno Valley
