Recommendation(s)
That the City Council:
1. Receive and file the Val Verde Unified School District presentation.
SUMMARY
The City is served by both Moreno Valley Unified School District and Val Verde Unified School District, which are valued partners in educating the youth of our community and contributing to the overall well-being and growth of the City.
Val Verde Unified currently operates 21 schools and serves approximately 1 9,080 students as of 2024. The District’s mission is to create a positive learning environment that fosters life -long learners who become responsible, contributing citizens capable of thriving in a culturally diverse society.
Val Verde Unified will provid e a presentation to highlight their ongoing work, initiatives, accomplishments, and community engagement efforts, further strengthening the
