Alexandra Garcia
Visual artist from Moreno
Valley with experience
working on city
commissioned art projects.
The colorful murals I create
draw the eye in, and provide
the community with a moment
of peaceful admiration.
My work points back to its
surroundings, highlighting the
environment of the local
community.
My aim is that in admiring the
mural, the viewer will feel
more in the moment, and then
take that experience with
them to continue admiring and
contemplating their
surroundings.

PROPOSED ARTWORK:
PROPOSED ARTWORK:
My design aims to provide the
surrounding urban area with a pop
of color and burst of life. The
inspiration and theme is a
celebration of the pollinators that are
responsible for the vibrant
landscapes and gardens in the city.
We often forget the important role
they play in our daily lives and how
they too contribute to bringing life
and color to the community. I
created a design for Hummingbirds
and Butterflies and would love to
create more.
