ENTRANCE)
Proposed Location:
Night Bloom Dancing with Moths
Description
Night Bloom Dancing with Moths is inspired by a Cereus Peruvianus cactus blooming its flowers at night. I created a night scene with sphinx moths pollinating the flowers under a bright moon and shooting stars. The sky's colors dance across the design to suggest movement.

Proposed Location:
Gila T alavera
Description
Gila T alavera depicts local lizard species, Gila Monsters. Here I wanted to create a fun design with bold lines based on the unique lizard with patterns inspired by Mexican talavera pottery and design. Gila Monsters are native to both the US and Mexico, and so the design connects to both of my cultures being a Chicana.
