Traffic Control Plan

This year, the city of Moreno Valley will hold the annual 4th of July festival at the new civic cen- ter amphitheater and park, which is located west of City Hall and north of the Public Safety Building. It is the priority of the Moreno Valley Sheriff ’s Station to ensure for the safety and se- curity of all patrons.
Separate roadway closures will be in place during each stage of the event, with the first stage being the parade, the second stage being the family fun festival and the third stage being the fireworks show.
The second stage of roadway closures will be established about 60 minutes before the fireworks show begins at 2100 hours.
Roving motors will be enforcing “No parking/stopping” along Alessandro Boulevard, Frederick Street and Calle San Juan De Los Lagos. These areas will be continually monitored throughout the day.
Public Works will post signs as needed to provide a mechanism for vehicles to be removed when necessary. This will ensure the firework “fallout” zone is clear of vehicles.

2. Have all vehicles approaching Frederick Street and Alessandro Boulevard make a U -turn or enter the shopping center’s parking lot to watch / wait for parade to end.
