Mayor Turner called the City Council Goal Setting Workshop to order at 9:02 a.m.
ROLL CALL ATTENDANCE
City Clerk Michelle Bigelow called the roll.

CITY COUNCIL GOAL SETTING WORKSHOP
1. Review and discuss:
a. 2023 Accomplishments
b. Sustainable Morgan Hill
c. 2022-2023 Strategic Priorities Work Plan
d. Future Council Initiated Agenda Items
e. Remote Public Comments and Public Videos
f. Financial Update
g. Development Services Fund and Housing Laws
h. Youth Sports and Recreation Tourism
i. Economic Development
City Manager Christina Turner welcomed the Community to the City Council's Annual Goal Setting Workshop. She kicked the workshop off with an icebreaker activity and then showed a video of the City's accomplishments from 2023. The leadership team then shared a few of their department's accomplishments.
Public comment opened at 9:32 a.m. There being no requests to speak, public comment closed.
City Manager Christina Turner reviewed the City's Sustainable Morgan Hill Ongoing and Strategic Priorities, and 2022-2023 Strategic Priorities Work Plan and led the City Council in a discussion of them.
The Council reviewed and discussed the Future Council Initiated Agenda Items.

The meeting recessed at 10:24 a.m. and reconvened at 10:35 a.m.
The Council reviewed the vision statement and agreed that no changes were needed. They then reviewed and discussed the ongoing priorities. The discussion moved to the strategic priorities.

City Manager Christina Turner provided a recap of the 2024-2025 Sustainable Morgan Hill updates from day 1.
