2 operational reports, annual fiscal and compliance audits, and triennial performance audits.

3. Marketing strategies are listed twice, pages 71 and 78. While other categories listed along side Marketing are subsequently expanded upon, Marketing is not. Marketing is one of the rationals for going with RTA because Marketing wasn't getting accomplished internally. Where is the Marketing plan? Marketing strategies will be included as a separate chapter in the plan. The plan consultant will conduct a review of current marketing strategies and public information systems. This will include a review of current printed marketing materials, transit information provided on the City website, social media strategies, trip planning tools and tracking tools. Broad recommendations regarding marketing strategies and communications protocol will be developed for the City of Morro Bay as well as at a more regional level. RTA and City staff will also stress the importance of increased marketing activities to the plan consultant.

4. While trolleys are mentioned early in the plan, they are not mentioned after the first few pages. Will they be phased out? The different deliverables noted in the plan scope of work (existing conditions, service alternatives, service plan, capital plan, financial plan, marketing strategies etc.) apply to both transit and trolley services. As noted during the 9/10/24 City Council meeting, the City retains local control over routes, scheduling, and fare structure. The trolleys would only be phased out if the City Council chooses to do so.

Sincerely,
Betty Winholtz

Good aŌernoon Mayor & Council Members,
Mr. Erwin’s applicaƟon was not published with the agenda packet as it was our understanding, based on his email to the Clerk’s office, that he had a medical procedure scheduled Monday (today) and would not be able to parƟcipate in interviews, thereby withdrawing from the process. Given Mr. Erwin’s subsequent email to the City Council (copied below), please note SecƟon 6.6.3.8 allows the City Council to consider candidates not appearing for interviews only upon a finding of the Council by moƟon the absence arose from excusable neglect or personal difficulƟes. Mr. Erwin’s applicaƟon is aƩached for your review and this email will be published with agenda correspondence.

Please reach out individually if you have any quesƟons.

Sincerely,
Dana Swanson

I am sƟll interested in being on the PWAB but unable to aƩend the Tuesday Council meeƟng due to a medical procedure and will be in the hospital that evening. I have been a PWAB member since 2015, and have much relevant experience.

I’m a registered civil engineer, with wide experience with city, federal government, development, Superfund cleanup, environmental projects and government contracƟng. Even though I’m unable to aƩend I sƟll would like to be considered.
