Good morning,
Thank you for your interest in serving on one of the City’s Advisory Boards. The City Council has tentatively scheduled interviews during their Special Meeting on Tuesday, September 23rd, beginning at 4:00 pm in person at the Morro Bay Veterans Memorial Hall.
3 We recommend that you take the time to review the linked Advisory Body Handbook & By-Laws to familiarize yourself with the qualifications and expectations. It is important to understand that, if appointed, there are a number of recommended and legally required training sessions you will be expected to attend. Also, it is highly recommended you attend a meeting, or at minimum, review recent or upcoming agenda materials for the advisory board you would like to service on.
As the date gets closer, I will be emailing you the agenda packet which will include the staff report and other important documents for you to become familiar with. Please reserve this date and time 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm on your calendar.
