Special City Council Meeting - July 22, 2026
1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Mayor Su called the meeting to order at 5:42 p.m.
2. PUBLIC COMMENT
Mayor Su opened the public comment period, there being no one wishing to speak in person or virtually the public comment period was closed.
3. Conduct a Training on Council Procedures Under Rosenberg’s Rules of Order Shirley Concolino of Municipal Resource Group conducted training on parliamentary procedure and meeting management. The training covered quorum requirements, agenda structure, public comment, consent calendars, public hearings, motions, amendments, voting, abstentions, recusals, professional conduct, the role of the chair, points of order, meeting decorum and remote participation requirements. Council Members asked questions regarding Council discussion time, repetitive public comment, staff responses during public comment, public hearing procedures, motions and amendments, abstentions, and points of order
4. ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Su adjourned the special meeting at 6:52 pm.
