MINUTES
SPECIAL MEETING—TUESDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2020

1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Chair Abe-Koga.

Present: Subcommittee members Abe-Koga, Kamei, and Matichak.
Absent: None.

6. NEW BUSINESS
6.1 STRATEGIC PLAN AND GOAL -SETTING PROCESS FOR FISCAL YEARS 2021 -22 AND 2022-23
City staff provided a review of the background and purpose of the strategic plan and introduced CivicMakers. The Subcommittee discussed dates and key milestones for the F iscal Years 2021-23 strategic planning and goal -setting process. The Subcommittee received a review of and provided feedback on the strategic planning communications plan.
6.2 CITY COUNCIL RETREAT
The Subcommittee provided direction on the format and facilitation of the upcoming City Council team-building retreat.
7. SUBCOMMITTEE/STAFF COMMENTS, QUESTIONS, SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS—None.
