Dear Mayor Hicks and Council Members,
The Public Storage/Alta Housing project will be coming before you this Tuesday for final approval, and I encourage you to do so given all the merits of this creative project. I would just like to ask you to consider asking Public Works to underground the utilities on that block of Terra Bella Ave. to make for a much more attractive streetscape which I'm sure the future residents would appreciate. When Shoreline Gateway (1001 N. Shoreline) was started, the utilities fronting that property were put underground. Doesn't this project deserve the same treatment? Doesn't it make sense to do this during the construction phase rather than later when people are living there and landscaping has been put in place?
