TITLE: 1020 and 1040 Terra Bella Avenue—

Projects (Second Reading)
RECOMMENDATION
1. Adopt an Ordinance of the City of Mountain View Approving a Zoning Map Amendment from the MM (General Industrial) Zoning District to a P (Planned Community) Zoning District for the Properties Located at 1020 Terra Bella Avenue, 1040 Terra Bella Avenue, and 1055 San Leandro Avenue, to be read in title only, further reading waived (Attachment 1 to the Council report). (First reading: 7-0)
2. Adopt an Ordinance of the City of Mountain View Approving a Development Agreement By and Between the City of Mountai n View and Public Storage for the Terra Bella Public Storage Project for Public Storage Located at 1040 Terra Bella Avenue and 1055 San Leandro Avenue, to be read in title only, further reading waived (Attachment 2 to the Council report). (First reading: 7-0)
SUMMARY
On March 14, 2023, the City Council introduced an ordinance to adopt a Zoning Map Amendment (Attachment 1) in c onjunction with the approval of a 100% affordable residential development at 1020 Terra Bella Avenue and a personal storage development at 1040 Terra Bella Avenue and 1055 San Leandro Avenue. Council also introduced a n ordinance to adopt a 10 -year Development Agreement for the personal storage development at 1040 Terra Bella Avenue and 1055 San Leandro Avenue (Attachment 2).
This is a second reading of the ordinance for the Zoning Map Amendment and the ordinance for the Development Agreement, both of which are required by the City Charter. If approved, the ordinances will become effective on May 3, 2023.
FISCAL IMPACT—None.
