1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chair Hicks.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: Committee members Margaret Abe -Koga, Patricia Showalter , and Chair Alison Hicks.
Absent: None.
3. MINUTES APPROVAL
Motion—M/S Showalter/Abe-Koga—Carried 3-0—To approve the m inutes of the April 18, 2023 meeting.

6. NEW BUSINESS
6.1 FINAL 2020 AND PRELIMINARY 2021 COMMUNITY GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS
INVENTORIES
Sustainability staff presented an update on the final 2020 and preliminary 2021 community greenhouse gas emissions inventories. Chief Sustainability and Resiliency Officer Danielle Lee and Assistant City Manager Aarti Shrivastava responded to the Committee’s questions.

6.1 SUSTAINABILITY ACTION PLAN 4 PROGRESS UPDATE AND RECOMMENDED
MODIFICATIONS
Sustainability staff presented updates on the Sustainability Action Plan 4 (SAP-4) progress and proposed modifications to the remaining SAP -4 actions and budget.
Chief Sustainability and Resiliency Officer Danielle Lee; Transportation Manager Ria Hutabarat Lo; and Public Works Director Dawn Cameron responded to the Committee’s questions.
