The City Council adopted seven Strategic Priorities on June 22, 2021 following a six-month planning and visioning process. The Strategic Priorities are seven critical policy areas that work toward a vision of where the City strives to be in the next three to five years. In support of these Strategic Priorities and visions, the City Council biannually adopts a work plan that charts a thoughtful and achievable path forward to accomplish the community’s highest priorities.

Strategic Priorities and Work Plan Implementation Progress Every six months, the Council receives reports from the City Manager on the implementation of the Strategic Roadmap alongside the midyear budget update and the proposal of the budget for the new fiscal year. Council meeting materials from these updates will be linked here as they become available.
Historic FY 2017 - FY 2023 Council Goals and Work Plans The City Council has engaged in a process to set Council Major Goals and associated work plans since the late 1990s, transitioning to a biannual process in 2013.
