SERIES 2023
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOUNTAIN VIEW AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-24 BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE ONE MILLION DOLLARS ($1,000,000) FROM THE LIABILITY SELF-INSURANCE FUND (FUND NO. 754) AND TWO HUNDRED TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($210,000) FROM THE
WASTEWATER FUND (FUND NO. 602) FOR LITIGATION EXPENSES
WHEREAS, on June 27, 2023, the City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2023 -24 budget (Resolution No. 18823), which appropriated funds for the expenditures proposed by said budget; and
WHEREAS, Mountain View Charter Section 1105 authorizes the City Council, by affirmative vote of at least five (5) members, to amend or supplement the Adopted Budget to transfer unused balances for another purpose or to appropriate available revenue not included in the Adopted Budget at any time after adoption of the budget; and
WHEREAS, additional appropriations are needed to avoid delays in operations; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED: by the City Council of the City of Mountain View that the recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby incorporated by reference as if fully set forth in their entirety; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED: that the following stated amount s a re hereby appropriated and transferred for litigation expenses:
