A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOUNTAIN VIEW APPOINTING KULDIP AMBASTHA TO THE BOARD OF LIBRARY TRUSTEES; REAPPOINTING JOE MITCHNER TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION; REAPPOINTING LADA ADAMIC TO THE BICYCLE/PEDESTRIAN ADVISORY COMMITTEE; REAPPOINTING JAMIL SHAIKH TO THE DOWNTOWN COMMITTEE;
APPOINTING BRIAN OGONOWSKY TO THE SENIOR ADVISORY COMMITTEE;
AND REAPPOINTING CLIFF BRYANT AND TOOTOO THOMSON AND
APPOINTING LACY RATHBUN TO THE VISUAL ARTS COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Council Appointments Review Committee held a duly noticed public meeting on November 2, 2023, during which it interviewed 11 applicants for schedule vacancies on the Board of Library Trustees, Parks and Recreation Commission, Bicycle/Pedestria n Advisory Committee, Senior Advisory Committee, and Visual Arts Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Council Appointments Review Committee recommended appointments and reappointments to the Board of Library Trustees, Parks and Recreation Commission, Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee, Downtown Committee, Senior Advisory Committee, and Visual Arts Committee; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED: that the City Council of the City of Mountain View hereby:
Appoints Kuldip Ambastha to the Board of Library Trustees for the term of January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2027; and
Reappoints Joe Mitchner to the Parks and Recreation Commission for the term of January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2027; and
Reappoints Lada Ada mic to the Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee for the term of January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2027; and
Reappoints Jamil Shaikh to the Downtown Committee (Neighborhood) for the term of January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024; and
Appoints Brian Ogonowsky to the Senior Advisory Committee for the term of January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2027; and
Reappoints Cliff Bryant and Tootoo Thomson and appoints Lacy Rathbun to the Visual Arts Committee for the terms of January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2027.
