A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOUNTAIN VIEW APPOINTING ___________________ TO SERVE AS THE ALTERNATE MEMBER
TO THE RENTAL HOUSING COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, on October 17, 2023, the City Council held a duly noticed public meeting during which it interviewed five applicants for one unscheduled vacancy on the Rental Housing Committee; and
WHEREAS, on November 7, 2023, the City Council appointed Alex Brown to the Rental Housing Committee, creating a vacancy in the alternate member position on the Rental Housing Committee; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk’s Office posted a notice of unscheduled vacancy on November 8, 2023, pursuant to Government Code § 54974(a); and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk’s Office received no new applications during the notice of unscheduled vacancy posting period of November 8 through November 27, 2023; and
WHEREAS, the City Council reconsidered the remaining applicants from the October 17, 2023 interview session who expressed a desire to be considered for the alternate member to the Rental Housing Committee; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED: that the City Council of the City of Mountain View hereby:
Appoints ____________ as an alternate to the Rental Housing Com mittee for the term December 15, 2023 to April 17, 2027.
