The League of Women Voters (LWV) supports actions that increase the stock of affordable housing.
The League has consistently supported the City funding affordable housing projects. We support the efforts listed in item number 5.1 to improve the process so that affordable housing projects can be built faster. We thank staff in acting on our suggestion that there be staffers in each relevant department trained to work on these projects, given how time-sensitive funding these projects are. We look forward to the continued implementation of these improvements.
