TITLE: Declaration of a Shelter Crisis
RECOMMENDATION
Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Mountain View Amending Resolution No. 18301 to Extend the Declaration of a Shelter Crisis in the City of Mountain View through June 30, 2026, to be read in title only, further reading waived (Attachment 1 to the Council report).
BACKGROUND/ANALYSIS
On June 11, 2024, the City Council approved various annual actions in support of homeless ness response services. The fourth of four Council recommendations listed in the report (extension of the Declaration of a Shelter Crisis ) was inadvertently not included in the June 11, 2024, City Council agenda. Therefore , staff has brought this item back to resolve the administrative oversight. The Council report reflected the staff analysis and recommendation to extend the Declaration, and there are no changes to the resolution. (The June 11, 2024, Council Item 4.4 is included as Attachment 2.)
