RECOMMENDATION

Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Mountain View to Establish the Tennis Advisory Committee and Prescribing the Duties, Responsibilities, and Membership Thereof, to be read in title only, further reading waived (Attachment 1 to the Council report).

BACKGROUND

On December 17, 2024, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 18956 , amending City Council Policy K-2, Boards, Committees, and Commissions, to add a definition for advisory or decision - making committees and directed staff to bring back a resolution to rename the Tennis Advisory Body (also known as the Tennis Advisory Board) to the Tennis Advisory Committee to align with the amended Policy. The resolution attached to this report accomplishes this goal and cleans up administrative records.

FISCAL IMPACT—There is no budgetary impact associated with this recommendation.

The Levine Act is intended to prevent financial influence on decisions that affect specific, identifiable persons or participants.
