DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS5.
5.1 New Council Policy - Gatekeeper Authorization Process Approved as amended M/S - Clark/Ramirez - 2-0-1; McAlister absent The Committee recommended revisions to the following components of the draft policy: Streamlined Gatekeeper criteria; Establishing regular Gatekeeper criteria as a “menu” of options from which an applicant can select to distinguish their project; and, ensuring periodic review of the Gatekeeper policy by the CPPC to ensure the policy is a “living document” where refinements will occur over time in response to emerging community needs and changes in the development cycle. The Committee also identified other areas for further refinement and deferred to staff’s judgment when formulating the revisions.
5.2 Virtual Public Participation in the Meetings of Legislative Bodies The following members of the public spoke:

Committee Members' consensus was to discuss this topic at the Councilmember Retreat.
