Dear Council Members,
I received the agenda for Tuesday's Council meeting and was delighted to see that Hala Alshahwany and IdaRose Sylvester have both applied to serve on the EPC.
I have known these talented environmental stewards for eight years since they were members of the ESTF-2 Task Force that I chaired. I think very highly of their depth of knowledge about environmental issues and their demonstrated ability to work well with other members of an advisory body and with the public at large.
Neither Hala nor IdaRose solicited my endorsement, but I am very happy to let you know of my unconditional support for their appointment to the EPC.
