A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOUNTAIN VIEW APPOINTING SHARON SU TO THE BOARD OF LIBRARY TRUSTEES; REAPPOINTING JONATHAN DAVIS AND APPOINTING IDAROSE SYLVESTER TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION; REAPPOINTING MARISOL MELARA, MIKE KASPERZAK, PETER KATZ, AND JAMIL SHAIKH AND APPOINTING PETER REITER TO THE DOWNTOWN COMMITTEE; APPOINTING IRINA CRONE TO THE PERFORMING ARTS COMMITTEE; AND APPOINTING DAVID KIM AND MICHELLE MAGUIRE TO THE SENIOR ADVISORY COMMITTEE WHEREAS, on October 27, 2025, and on November 17, 2025, the Council Appointments Review Committee interviewed applicants and made recommendations for appointments on the Board of Library Trustees, Parks and Recreation Commission, Downtown Committee, Performing Arts Committee, and Senior Advisory Committee; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED: that the City Council of the City of Mountain View makes the following appointments:
Sharon Su is reappointed to the Board of Library Trustees for the January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2029, term; and Jonathan Davis is reappointed and IdaRose Sylvester is appointed to the Parks and Recreation Commission for the January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2029, terms; and Marisol Melara, Downtown Business Association seat, is reappointed to the Downtown Property Owner and/or Representative of a Business in the Downtown category for the January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2028, term; Mike Kasperzak, and Peter Katz, Chamber of Commerce seat, are reappointed to the Business-at-Large category for the January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2028, terms; Dennis Reiter is appointed to the Community-at-Large category for the January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2028, term; and Jamil Shaikh is reappointed to the Neighborhood category for the January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026, term, to the Downtown Committee; and Irina Crone is appointed to the Performing Arts Committee for the unexpired term ending December 31, 2026; and David Kim and Michelle Maguire are appointed to the Senior Advisory Committee for the January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2029, terms. – – – – – – – – – – –
