1. CALL TO ORDER
At 6:06 p.m., Mayor Kamei called the meeting to order.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Kamei led the Pledge of Allegiance.

4. NEW BUSINESS
County of Santa Clara Supervisor Margaret Abe-Koga presented a commendation to Mayor Kamei.
Kevin Fong, on behalf of Assemblymember Marc Berman's office, congratulated Mayor Kamei.
Nicholas Hargis, on behalf of Congressman Sam Liccardo's office, presented a certificate of congressional recognition to Mayor Kamei.
Isabel Agustin, on behalf of Senator Josh Becker's office, thanked Mayor Kamei.

Vice Mayor Ramos presented a proclamation and gavel plaque to Mayor Kamei.

4.3 Nomination/Election of Mayor
Mayor Kamei opened nominations for Mayor.
Councilmember Clark nominated Vice Mayor Ramos to serve as Mayor.
Councilmember McAlister seconded the nomination.
The motion carried by the following vote:

4.4 Nomination/Election of Vice Mayor
Mayor Ramos opened nominations for Vice Mayor.
Councilmember Ramirez nominated Councilmember Clark to serve as Vice Mayor.
Councilmember Showalter seconded the nomination.
