Annual Holiday Party
Brief Project Description:

Until 2022, the park owner has hosted a holiday party for the residents. In 2022, he was unable to do so due to additional costs. This event (54th annual) we had to charge $9 to cover costs and had 45 in attendance in 2022. This grant has enabled us to offer it free again :). We are happy to say that with the support of this grant , we had had close to 100 attend or have food delivered to those who weren’t physically able to join us at the clubhouse.

Section 4: Request Summary
What do you plan to use the grant funds for?
We discussed asking for some funds for the committee, but realized that the grant funds historically allocated have been used quite efficiently to bring the community together, close to doubling the attendance. I added this to see if there is a possibility of additional funds that we could use to put towards our shed and supplies. I do have a list of them with costs if that would be helpful if you could consider additional funds or recommend other grants that may be able to help.

So the households impacted go beyond our immediate neighborhood. Last year we had over 700 visitors to the haunted city, probably more. We served over 250 scoops of ice cream at the social last year.
