MINUTES
SPECIAL MEETING— TUESDAY, JUNE 2, 2026
PLAZA CONFERENCE AND VIDEO CONFERENCE ROOM- 500 CASTRO STREET 6:00 P.M.
1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Showalter called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: Committee members Chris Clark, Alison Hicks, and Chair Pat Showalter.
Absent: None.
3. APPROVE MINUTES
3.1 Approve Minutes
Motion—M/S Clark/Hicks—Carried 3-0—To approve the minutes of the April 30, 2026, meeting.
4. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC

5. NEW BUSINESS
5.1 Decarbonization Goal Analysis
Chief Sustainability and Resiliency Officer Danielle Lee and Sustainability Manager Rebecca Lucky presented the final Decarbonization Goal Analysis and responded to the committee’s questions.

5.2 Sustainability Action Plan 4 Progress Update
Chief Sustainability and Resiliency Officer Danielle Lee and Sustainability Analyst Lauren Anderson presented the Sustainability Action Plan 4 Progress Update and answered the committee’s questions.

The committee discussed the item. This item was intended as informational. No action was taken.
6. COMMITTEE/STAFF COMMENTS, QUESTIONS, COMMITTEE REPORTS – None Chair Showalter requested that the sea-level rise event for elected officials, planned for this fall, be noticed as a special meeting of the Council Sustainability Committee (CSC) to allow multiple Mountain View councilmembers to attend.
7. ADJOURNMENT
Chair Showalter adjourned the meeting at 7:31 p.m.
