I don't think it's unsafe. I think it's fine. I think all those bike lane dividers on El Camino Real keep cars idling while waiting to turn right - for no reason. I've seen a total of 4 bikes since they finished it. It's a waste of time, money and gas.

Please don't do what you did on California St. It's terrible improvement. Even harder to see bikers now and hard to make turns with the wide turn cones.

There is so much traffic now going from two lanes to one lane. I don't see what it improved, I think it did the opposite.

Improvement at the Caltrain crossings. Whenever there is a train, the traffic stops for a long time and affects other areas of Rengstorff avenue as well. Also there are often cars getting stuck in the middle of the intersection near the 101 on ramp, which is really dangerous.

Also the turn onto Rengstoff from Crisanto is also congested and a huge mess. It's too close to Central and it's hard for drivers to turn onto Rengstorff. Maybe they need a dedicated turn lane? Don't take away street parking like was done to California. It is so unfair to people on California who have lost sometimes 5-6 spots per block. Housing is too congested in this area to remove their parking.
