Attended the Riverside Transit Authority Commission Meeting. • Fiscal Year 2023 Ridership is Up 27% compared to Fiscal Year 2022. • RTA’s 25-cent promotion came to an end on August 31st. • FREE Friday Rides start September 1, 2023 through June 28, 2024. • RTA will coordinate with Murrieta Public Works to move bus stop locations during the widening project on Murrieta Hot Springs Road and will do an information campaign with signage and social media announcements informing riders of the temporary locations during construction. • RTA is currently looking into improving Murrieta Hot Springs Road Bus Stops for safety and weather issues (extreme heat/rain) at the high ridership stops.
