May 6, 2024 Attended the Western Riverside Council of Governments.
At the General Assembly they will appoint Rita Rogers, Brenda Dennstedt and Jacque Casillas to serve as Chair, Vice Chair, and 2nd vice-chair, respectively for the 24/25 year.
TUMF OVERVIEW:
• Regional transportation impact fee program which mitigates congestion. • New Development only Residential and Non-Residential. • Funds regional arterial bridge, grade separation interchanges, does not fund local street or freeway improvements.

May 6, 2024 • Nexus Study was done to determine how much fees would rise. • SF Residential currently $10,104 with nexus study 2024 $15,668. • MF Residential currently $6580 with nexus study 2024 $7913. • Industrial, Service, Retail also would see an increase in fees. • AB 602 impact fees for residential units calculated based on square footage. • History of Increases:
• 2007 fees increased.
• 2012 fees reduced for recession.
• 2017 phased in fee increases and loss of hundreds of Million dollars lost …….
