2 Background
• January 2023 MFR purchased a
100’ TDA with a scheduled delivery
date of approximately January
2026.
• The need for this apparatus aligns
with the changing footprint of our
city, the prevalence of multi-story
construction, and the commercial
wide-rise distribution centers
we see in our region.
• Current Truck Company is a 75’
platform, which can’t reach our 6-
story buildings effectively.
• Since the purchase of this vehicle,
the delivery time for apparatus is
reaching almost 5 years.

7 Approve the Bill of Sale with the Pechanga Band of Indians for the purchase of a used aerial apparatus for a total not to exceed $100,000; Amend the Fiscal Year 2024/25 Operating Budget and approve the use of the Measure T Fleet Replacement Reserve to establish an appropriation of $100,000; and
Authorize the City Manager to execute the Bill of Sale.
