Action: It was moved by Commissioner Fisher seconded by Vice Chair Vrooman to Approve the Minutes of September 11, 2024 and September 25, 2024 Regular Planning Commission Meeting as presented.

PUBLIC HEARING
U-Haul Development Plan (DP-2021-2359) and Conditional Use Permit (CUP-2021-2360).
Associate Planner Farrah Bulacan presented the PowerPoint and staff report.
Civil Engineering Assistant Casey Thompson was available for questions.
The Applicant Chad Farren, Area District Vice President and Owners representative Jason Mastriana responded to the Commissioners questions.
The Public Hearing was opened at 6:41 pm.

Action: It was moved by Commissioner LaPaglia seconded by Commissioner Fisher to Consider and Approve the Notice of Exemption for In-Fill Development (Class 32 Infill Exemption) pursuant to California Code of Regulations Title 14, Section 15332 of the Guidelines for Implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); (see Attachment 4); and adopt the Resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of Murrieta approving Development Plan Permit 2021-2359 (DP-2021-2359) and Conditional Use Permit 2021-2360 (CUP-2021-2360) for the construction and operation of A 15,579 Sf Self-Storage Facility on A 1.11 acre site on Los Alamos Road (APNS: 949-220-013 and 949-220-014), based on the Findings and subject to the Conditions of Approval in Exhibits A and B, and the Operations Statement in Exhibit C.

CITY PLANNER COMMENTS
City Planner Carl Stiehl explained that the Planning Commission has rendered a decision on the Project, anyone wishing to file an appeal can contact the Planning Department.

PLANNING COMMISSION COMMENTS
Commissioner La Paglia requested a moment of silence to honor resident and owner of “The Mill” Adam Bouvet.
Vice Chair Vrooman asked if the meeting be adjourned in Adam Bouvet’s name.
Chair Harlan concluded the meeting in Memory of Mr. Bouvet.
