Project Description Response
The Murrieta Public Library plans to expand the Library for All (LFA) program to include children and teens with disabilities. Library for All is an established program in our library, and the activities are tailored to the participant's unique interests and ability levels. The current program format is open to adults and older teens with disabilities and their families/caregivers. Library for All has a monthly theme featuring crafts and STEAM-related activities, movie days, and more. The current budget for the Library for All program is $2,500 a year, and the Library provides at least two programs per month plus oers take-home kits and movie days for all participants. The Library will be applying to receive $20,000 to expand the program for the original Library for All program for adults and to help increase capacity and oer more elaborate programs. Part of the funding will be used to buy items such as board games, STEAM materials, and other program supplies. The funding will also help create and jump-start the Library for All Junior (Pre-K to 5th grade) and Library for All for Teens (middle school and high school students). The funds will help purchase the start-up supplies and program materials for LFA Junior and pay for instructors and presenters for LFA Teen's monthly programs.

AGENCY INFORMATION
Agency Information Response
Our library's mission and vision encourage us to create a vibrant environment with open access to services and to be our community's center of discovery. Through this grant, we will further seal our commitment to provide equitable access for all, encourage innovation and collaboration, and strengthen our connections with our community.

This will be the Library's second time applying for the Inspiration grant. In 2022, the Library received $3,600 to expand Library for All’s outreach services. Library for All has become a popular program in our Library and we have expanded the program from a once a month program to having a weekly program that serves adults and older teens with disabilities. We have also expanded our partnership with our local school district as well as a residential treatment center for at-risk youth.

MULTI-YEAR PROJECT: FUTURE YEARS
If this project is expected to take more than one year to implement fully, please describe your plans for future years and how this year’s activities contribute to your plans as a whole. (Word limit: 150) If this is a one-year project, enter “N/A.” Multi-Year Project: Future Years Response

Library for All was established in 2018 and it has been the most consistently well-attended program for the Adult Services Department. It has been commented on numerous times and recently in our community survey that we should expand the program to children and teens. This grant will be transformational for our community; not only will it help us further expand our services to adults with disabilities but we are also responding to our community's need to have a similar program for children and teens with disabilities. If we do receive funding, we plan on doing the following programs for spring 2024:
• Library for All for Adults: ve months of weekly "Hangout Thursday" activities, six take-home kits (600-1000 kits), six in-person STEAM programs (elaborate activities), and six movie days. • Library for All for Teens: ve in-person programs (paid instructors/presenters) • Library for All Junior: four to six programs
• Possible outreach activities with Community Services Department’s Alternative Recreation program, Cultivating Inclusion, MVUSD Summit Program, and Oak Grove Center.

EQUITY-BASED COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Describe how your project has been designed and will be implemented in collaboration with the marginalized community(ies) on which your project will focus and other members of your community. (Word limit: 300).

Equity-Based Community Involvement Response
Since Library for All is an established program in our library, we have already connected with at least six vocational groups in our area. We have also associated with our school district's adult transition school and local residential treatment for at-risk youth. We also plan to expand to LFA Junior and LFA Teens and provide weekend programming for enrichment activities and socialization opportunities for children and teens with disabilities.
