RESOLUTION NO. 26-4919
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MURRIETA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT AGREEMENT NO. F025 TO ADMINISTERING AGENCY-STATE AGREEMENT NO. 08-5464F15 WITH APPROVED FINANCE LETTER FOR THE IN-PAVEMENT LED LIGHTED CROSSWALK PROJECT, CIP NO. 13034 WHEREAS, on December 4, 2018, the City approved the Master Agreement 05464F15 with Caltrans, allowing for Program Supplement Agreements; and WHEREAS, on May 7, 2019, the City accepted the Highway Safety Improvement Program funding award in the amount of $247,435 for the installation of five in-pavement LED lighted crosswalks and curb ramps near four school sites, CIP No. 13034 (“Project”); and WHEREAS, the City of Murrieta adopted Resolution 22-4546, approving the Right of Way Certification for the Project; and WHEREAS, the City of Murrieta has received Program Supplement Agreement No. F025 to Administering Agency-State Agreement No. 08-5464F15 with Approved Finance Letter (“Agreement”); and WHEREAS, said Agreement provides for the implementation of a Federal Aid project for the Project; and WHEREAS, execution of this Agreement is necessary to include the Project in the Master Agreement between the City and Caltrans; and WHEREAS, said Agreement provides for the installation of in-pavement LED lighted crosswalks and curb ramps near four school sites under CIP Project No. 13034, Federal Project No. 5464 (033).
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MURRIETA, CALIFORNIA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS Section 1. That Program Supplement Agreement No. F025 is hereby approved.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute the Program Supplement Agreement No. F025.
Section 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
Section 4. That the appropriate City officials are hereby authorized and directed to take such actions as they deem necessary and proper to effectuate and consummate the agreement with Caltrans.
