RESOLUTION NO. 26-4978
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MURRIETA DESIGNATING POSTING LOCATIONS IN THE CITY AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 24-4747 WHEREAS, on June 23, 1992, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 92-129, determining ordinances and certain resolutions to be posted and designating posting locations; and WHEREAS, on September 20, 1994, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 94-326, repealing Resolution No. 92-129 and designating posting locations and the City Clerk to prepare ordinance summaries; and WHEREAS, on May 6, 2008, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 08-1992, repealing Resolution No. 94-326 and designating posting locations; and WHEREAS, on June 18, 2024, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 24-4747 designating the following locations as official post locations: City Hall, Fire Station No. 2, and the Murrieta Public Library; and WHEREAS, due to the growth of the City and staff availability for posting notices, the City is amending the posting locations; and WHEREAS, in the future, the City Clerk will continue to seek opportunities to provide public noticing exposure to each district.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MURRIETA, CALIFORNIA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS Section 1. The recitals above are true and correct and incorporated herein by this reference.
Section 2. Resolution No. 24-4747 is hereby rescinded.
Section 3. The City Council removes Fire Station No. 2 and the Murrieta Public Library as designated posting locations.
Section 4. The City Council designates the three (3) locations as official post locations:

Cal Oaks Sports Park
40600 California Oaks Rd
Murrieta, CA 92562
Los Alamos Hills Sports Park
37000 Ruth Ellen Way
Murrieta, CA 92563
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
