January Meetings in Review
Transportation Now Total ridership for December was up 11.5% compared to the same month last year. Fiscal Year 2025 - ridership is up 8.4% compared to fiscal year 2024.
Free Rides on Transit Equity Day RTA is joining transit agencies nationwide by offering free rides on Transit Equity Day, Tuesday, February 4th to commemorate the life and legacy of civil rights icon Rosa Parks on her Birthday. RTA will provide free rides on all fixed-route and GoMicro buses.
Youth Ride Free Don’t forget, youth (18 and under) ride free now until June 30, 2025. This offer is available on all fixed route and GoMicro buses.
Wentworth Facility Update The Board awarded a project agreement to Sadler Architects, Inc. for architectural and engineering services for the RTA Wentworth Hemet facility. Until recently, RTA leased this property out, but updates to the facility will be made to utilize the property for Agency business.
