RE: Request for Reimbursement for Adjustments to RC WD Facilities CIP No. 8043 Clinton Keith Road, Grand Avenue to City/County Boundary Pavement Rehabilitation
The City of Murrieta has publicly advertised the subject project for construction and anticipates awarding the contract to the lowest responsible bidder on March 19 th , 2024.
Enclosed for your reference is the engineer’s estimate for the referenced project highlighting the bid items pertaining to RCWD.
As part of the subject project, we estimate seventeen (17) manhole covers owned and operated by RCWD to be adjusted to grade. The City estimates that the selected contractor can perform this work for $21,890.00. A breakdown of the engineer’s estimate for the above referenced work is as follows:

In the event of a discrepancy between the estimated and actual cost to complete the work, the City will issue a refund or request additional deposit as necessary. The project pre-construction schedule is as follows:
- Bid Open: January 18

- Bid Close: February 15 th , 2024
- City Council Approval: March 19th, 2024
- Notice to Proceed/Start of Construction: April 1 st , 2024
