RESOLUTION R2022-
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NAPA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE CITY STAFFING PLAN BY ADDING ONE SYSTEMS ANALYST POSITION AND DELETING ONE MANAGEMENT ANALYST I/II POSITION IN THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT; AND APPROVING REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS TO THE FY 2021/22 ADOPTED BUDGET, AS DOCUMENTED IN BUDGET ADJUSTMENT BE2202503.
WHEREAS, the FY 2021/22 Operating and Capital Budget (R2021-066) and the City Staffing Plan (R2021-067) for the City of Napa were adopted on June 15, 2021; and WHEREAS, this resolution is intended to add one Systems Analyst and delete one Management Analyst I/II to align position resources with increasing responsibilities due to newly deployed software applications functionality and complexity and staff demands; and WHEREAS, the adopted FY 2021/22 budget needs to be adjusted to reflect current revenue projections and department needs; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Napa, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council hereby approves an amendment to the City Staffing Plan for the Finance Department by: (a) adding one position allocation for the class of Systems Analyst, and (b) deleting one position allocation for the class of Management Analyst I/II.
The City Council hereby approves the budget adjustment as documented in Budget Adjustment Form BE2202503 (attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference).
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Napa at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 15th day of February, 2022 by the following vote:
