NOMINATION COMMITTEE MEMBERS PRESENT:
Vice Mayor Painter and Councilmember Narvaez
STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT:
Tiffany Carranza, City Clerk
AGENDA REVIEW AND SUPPLEMENTAL REPORTS – NONE.
PUBLIC COMMENT – NONE.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Approved the September 28, 2022 Regular Nomination Committee Meeting Minutes.
INTERVIEWS AND RECOMMENDED APPOINTMENTS
Interview applicants and make recommended appointments to the Napa County Library Commission.
Applicant Marie Paz B. Maurer was absent.
Vice Mayor Painter and Councilmember Narvaez interviewed the two remaining applicants in the following order:
Joe Streng
Molly A. Adams
At the conclusion of the applicant interviews, Vice Mayor Painter and Councilmember Narvaez completed a ballot, ranking the applicants on a scale of 1-2, with two being the most qualified. Ballots were then distributed to City Clerk Carranza.
The balloting resulted in the following votes:
Painter: Adams (2); Streng (1)
Narvaez: Adams (2); Streng (1)
City Clerk Carranza announced the scores, and that Molly A. Adams would move forward as the recommended nominees for appointment.
