Community Service Experience:
I have been on the NVTV board serving as their fund raising chairperson and now treasurer for that past eight years. I have been a volunteer there since 2012. I write grant applications for the station and organize general fund raising. I also served on the board of the Center for Spiritual Living on Combs street in downtown Napa. I have done volunteer work, primarily in the form of video services for the City of Napa, for the Mayor's Show, the Napa Arts Council and the Napa Historical Society. I have been co- producing the TV show Wine Country at Work since 2012, that looks at our wine making and hospitality community. .
Education:
Columbia HS 1969, Thomas A. Edison State University 1990, BA. New York University 1993 Ma. Trinity College, Naturopathic Doctorate 2003.
Other relevant experience or expertise:
For many years I owned and ran manufacturing plants working as a managing engineer. Due to environmental toxins I had to leave the business and return to school. At that point I became first a consultant, then seminar leader and Television and media producer. With my wife Lahni I run Cuore Libre Publishing within which we author various books and calendars including a popular series of local tour books and the Planetary Calendar, printed annually since 1949.

What is your understanding of the role and responsibility of this board? I have been on the board for eight years now and have been successful in developing a good fund raising program. I spend considerable time in doing long range planning for the station along with the executive director. I am currently involved in a capital improvement campaign with the aim of purchasing a building to act as the station's permanent home.
Have you ever attended a meeting of this board? If so, how many? We have meetings four times a year and I regularly attend.
What duties of this board are most interesting to you?
I enjoy the fund raising and long term planning to expand the stations capabilities in providing the city and county residents with high quality programming and modestly priced video education. One of our primary goals is raising funds to pay for a permanent home for the station.
What activities of this board are least interesting to you? It's all interesting.
What programs or projects would you like to see improved or implemented? I am currently planning the fund raising campaign to purchase a building for the studio.
