What is your understanding of the role and responsibility of this board? It was great to be part of the implementation of the PFS and I would love to continue to be part of the next steps as the program is implemented and funds start to become available.
Have you ever attended a meeting of this board? If so, how many? Yes
What duties of this board are most interesting to you?
I am interested in seeing the next steps in this program and starting to plan how money is spent. This might not happen in the next two-year term, but I am interested in continuing to see the next steps and how we can best help the community with this program. I think my background as a small business owner and my knowledge of accounting and finance would be beneficial in this position.
What activities of this board are least interesting to you? Interested in it all.
What programs or projects would you like to see improved or implemented? I think it's too early in the program for this to be a relevant question.
How would you approach improving these project(s) or program(s)? I would approach these projects and programs by learning as much as I can about the pros and cons of the project. I would ask questions to better understand the full scope, analyzing data to make sure the projects assumptions are correct and well though through. I am not afraid to disagree and ask hard questions.
