RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NAPA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING THE AMENDED 2023 CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR BY APPROVING THE CANCELLATION OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL ON NOVEMBER 21, 2023 WHEREAS, the time and place of regular meetings of the City of Napa City Council are governed by its City Charter Section 60, Napa Municipal Code Section 2.04.050, and City Council Policy Resolution No. 19; and WHEREAS, the regular meetings of the City Council are set for the first and third Tuesdays of every month, unless modified by a City Council resolution; and WHEREAS, on November 15, 2022, the City Council adopted Resolution R2022-102, which established the City Council meeting calendar for the year 2023 including the cancellation of the meetings of January 3, 2023 and July 4, 2023; and WHEREAS, staff has identified a need for a cancellation of a regular meeting and has prepared this resolution to establish the recommended 2023 City Council Calendar, set forth on Exhibit “A,” attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, which is implemented through this resolution, including the cancellation of the regular meeting previously scheduled for November 21, 2023; WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Napa has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meeting of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by city staff, and any information provided during the public meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Napa, as follows:
City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establishes the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council hereby cancels the regular meeting on November 21, 2023 scheduled for 3:30 p.m., at City Hall Council Chambers, 955 School Street, Napa, California.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Napa at their public meeting held on the 17th day of October, 2023, by the following vote:
