NOMINATION COMMITTEE MEMBERS PRESENT:
Councilmembers Alessio and Luros
STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT:
Tiffany Carranza, City Clerk; Emily Steinley, Office Assistant II
AGENDA REVIEW AND SUPPLEMENTAL REPORTS
City Clerk Carranza shared that applicant Michelle Dickson was unable to attend in person and therefore submitted a recorded video to be played on her behalf for consideration.
Corrected Attachment 1 was provided to the nomination committee that included the submitted resumes from Linda Bouwer and Linda Nellet that were inadvertently omitted from Attachment 1 that was published with the staff report.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Meeting Minutes
Approved the October 2, 2023 and October 4, 2023 Regular Nomination Committee Meeting Minutes.
INTERVIEWS AND RECOMMENDED APPOINTMENTS
Interview applicants and make recommended nomination to the Napa County Library Commission.
Council members Alessio and Luros interviewed the applicants in the following order:
Michelle Dickson (City Clerk staff played a video submitted by applicant Dickson for consideration in her absence.
Bronwyn Dickson Ney (via video conference)
Kate Moon
Lindy Bauwer
Linda Nellet
At the conclusion of the applicant interviews, Councilmembers Alessio and Luros completed a ballot, ranking the applicants on a scale of 1-5 with five being the most qualified. Ballots were then distributed to City Clerk Carranza.
The balloting resulted in the following votes:
Alessio: Dickson Ney (1); Moon (4); Bouwer (2); Dickson (5); Nellet (3) Luros: Dickson Ney (3); Moon (2); Bouwer (4); Dickson (1); Nellet (5) City Clerk Carranza announced the scores and that Linda Nellet would move forward as the recommended nominee for appointment.
