RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NAPA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DEOBLIGATING $82,838.12 OF CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FACILITIES RESERVE FUNDS FROM CSB ELECTRICAL SYSTEM EVALUATION AND DESIGN (33FC22PW05); OBLIGATING $82,838.12 OF CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FACILITIES RESERVE FUNDS FOR ALTERNATE EOC AND EMERGENCY COOLING CENTERS BACKUP POWER (33FC23PD02); AND THEREBY INCREASING THE CURRENT EXPENDITURE BUDGET OF THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND BY $0, AS DOCUMENTED IN BUDGET ADJUSTMENT NO. 2P10 WHEREAS, Council action is needed for addition of projects and budget adjustments to previously approved Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budgets; and WHEREAS, one CIP project is proposed for deobligation of funds, i.e., 33FC22PW05 (CSB Electrical System Evaluation and Design) in the amount of $82,838.12; and WHEREAS, one CIP project is proposed for obligation of funds, i.e., 33FC23PD02 (Alternate EOC and Emergency Cooling Centers Backup Power) in the amount of $82,838.12; and WHEREAS, the proposed budget adjustments will decrease the balance of the Capital Improvement Fund by $0; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Napa, as follows:
1. The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
2. The City Council hereby approves the deobligation of funds for one CIP project, i.e., 33FC22PW05 (CSB Electrical System Evaluation and Design) in the amount of $82,838.12, as documented in Budget Adjustment No. 2P10, attached hereto as Exhibit “A” and incorporated herein by reference.
3. The City Council hereby approves the obligation of funds for one CIP project: 33FC23PD02 (Alternate EOC and Emergency Cooling Centers Backup Power) in the amount of $82,838.12, as documented in Budget Adjustment No. 2P10, attached hereto as Exhibit “A” and incorporated herein by reference.
4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Napa at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 2nd day of April, 2024, by the following vote:
