RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NAPA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, (1) DEOBLIGATING $45,000 GENERAL FUND NON-RECURRING FUNDS FROM BROWNS VALLEY / VALLEY GLEN (33ST19PW09); AND (2) DEOBLIGATING $205,000 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM CIP GENERAL RESERVE FUNDS FROM BROWNS VALLEY / BUHMAN PARK (33ST19PW10); AND (3) OBLIGATING $45,000 OF GENERAL FUND NON-RECURRING FUNDS TO RESTROOMS, ALSTON PARK (33PK18PR02); AND (4) OBLIGATING $205,000 OF CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM CIP GENERAL RESERVE FUNDS FOR RESTROOMS, ALSTON PARK (33PK18PR02); AND THEREBY (5) INCREASING THE CURRENT EXPENDITURE BUDGET OF THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND BY $0, AS DOCUMENTED IN BUDGET ADJUSTMENT NO. 27P4.
WHEREAS, Council action is needed for budget adjustments to previously approved Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budgets; and WHEREAS, two CIP projects are proposed for deobligation of funds, 33ST19PW09 (Browns Valley / Valley Glen) in the amount of $45,000, and 33ST19PW10 (Browns Valley / Buhman Park) in the amount of $205,000; and WHEREAS, one CIP project is proposed for obligation of funds, 33PK18PR02 (Restrooms, Alston Park) in the amount of $250,000; and WHEREAS, the proposed budget adjustments will modify the balance of the Capital Improvement Fund by $0; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Napa, as follows:
1. The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
2. The City Council hereby approves the deobligation of funds for two CIP projects, 33ST19PW09 (Browns Valley / Valley Glen) in the amount of $45,000, and 33ST19PW10 (Browns Valley / Buhman Park) in the amount of $205,000, as documented in Budget Adjustment No. 27P4, attached hereto as Exhibit “A” and incorporated herein by reference.
3. The City Council hereby approves the obligation of $45,000 Non-Recurring General Fund and $205,000 of Capital Improvement Program General Fund Reserves to project 33PK18PR02 (Restrooms, Alston Park), as documented in Budget Adjustment No. 27P4, attached hereto as Exhibit “A” and incorporated herein by reference.
4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Napa at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 15th day of October, 2024, by the following vote:
