RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NAPA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, (1) DEOBLIGATING CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM CIP FACILITIES RESERVE FUNDS FROM THE FOLLOWING PROJECTS: $199,279.92 FROM CITY HALL TRANSFORMER (33FC24PW03), AND $300,000 FROM PEARL STREET DEPOT DEMOLITION (33FC24PW05); AND (2) OBLIGATING CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM CIP FACILITIES RESERVE FUNDS TO THE FOLLOWING PROJECTS: $24,279.92 FOR FIRE STATION ALERTING SYSTEM (33FC23FD01), $125,000 FOR FIRE STATION #2 ELECTRICAL REPAIR (33FC23FD02), $100,000 FOR SURFACE REPAIR CITY PARKING LOTS (33FC24PW06), AND $250,000 FOR FIRE STATION #3 PARKING LOT ACCESS (33FC25FD01); AND THEREBY (3) INCREASING THE CURRENT EXPENDITURE BUDGET OF THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND BY $0, AS DOCUMENTED IN BUDGET ADJUSTMENT NO. 28P4.
WHEREAS, Council action is needed for budget adjustments to previously approved Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budgets; and WHEREAS, two CIP projects are proposed for deobligation of funds, 33FC24PW03 (City Hall Transformer) in the amount of $199,279.92, and 33FC24PW05 (Pearl Street Depot Demolition) in the amount of $300,000 due to changed circumstances; and WHEREAS, four CIP projects are proposed for obligation of funds, 33FC23FD01 (Fire Station Alerting System) in the amount of $24,279.92, 33FC23FD02 (Fire Station #2 Electrical Repair) in the amount of $125,000, 33FC24PW06 (Surface Repair City Parking Lots) in the amount of $100,000, and 33FC25FD01 (Fire Station #3 Parking Lot Access) in the amount of $250,000; and WHEREAS, the proposed budget adjustments will modify the balance of the Capital Improvement Fund by $0; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Napa, as follows:
1. The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
2. The City Council hereby approves the deobligation of funds for two CIP projects, 33FC24PW03 (City Hall Transformer) in the amount of $199,279.92, and 33FC24PW05 (Pearl Street Depot Demolition) in the amount of $300,000, as documented in Budget Adjustment No. 28P4, attached hereto as Exhibit “A” and incorporated herein by reference.
3. The City Council hereby approves the obligation of funds for four CIP projects, 33FC23FD01 (Fire Station Alerting System) in the amount of $24,279.92, 33FC23FD02 (Fire Station #2 Electrical Repair) in the amount of $125,000, 33FC24PW06 (Surface Repair City Parking Lots) in the amount of $100,000, and 33FC25FD01 (Fire Station #3 Parking Lot Access) in the amount of $250,000, as documented in Budget Adjustment No. 28P4, attached hereto as Exhibit “A” and incorporated herein by reference.
4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Napa at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 15th day of October, 2024, by the following vote:
