RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NAPA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF $32,176.05 RECEIVED BY A DONATION FROM THE NAPA PARKS AND RECREATION FOUNDATION TO SUPPORT THE REPLACEMENT OF PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT AS PART OF EXISTING CITY OF NAPA CAPITAL PROJECTS (33PK16PR03 AND 33PK18PR07); AND THEREBY INCREASING THE CURRENT EXPENDITURE BUDGET OF THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND BY $32,176.05, AS DOCUMENTED IN BUDGET ADJUSTMENT NO. 2P4.
WHEREAS, Council action is needed for budget adjustments to previously approved Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budgets; and WHEREAS, two existing CIP projects are proposed to receive donations from the Napa Parks and Recreation Foundation, 33PK16PR03 (Playground Equipment Replacement 2016) in the amount of $2,176.05, and 33PK18PR07 (Playground Equipment Replacement) in the amount of $30,000; and WHEREAS, the proposed budget adjustments will modify the expenditure balance of the Capital Improvement Fund by $32,176.05; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Napa, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council hereby approves the appropriation of funds towards two CIP projects, 33PK16PR03 (Playground Equipment Replacement 2016) increasing the revenues and expenditures budget in the amount of $2,176.05, and 33PK18PR07 (Playground Equipment Replacement) increasing the revenues and expenditures budget in the amount of $30,000, as documented in Budget Adjustment No. 2P4, attached hereto as Exhibit “A” and incorporated herein by reference.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Napa at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 15th day of October, 2024, by the following vote:
