SUBJECT: UPDATED SUPPLEMENTAL FILES FOR SWR COLLECTION RATES Following the publication of the April 15, 2025, City Council agenda, City staff has prepared updated supplemental files for Solid Waste and Recycling (SWR) Collection Rates, identified as Administrative Item 6B.
The updated supplemental files are as follows:
The staff report table for proposed residential rates had a rounding error where the a few of the proposed rates were off by a penny and did not match the proposed 5-year rate tables.
The second attachment to the staff report was an independent study that now has fully incorporated edits/revision after outside legal review.
The third attachment to the staff report was revised for the rounding error in the chart (as was noted above for the staff report) as well as various text and graphics updated to mirror what would be printed and mailed to the public for proposed SWR collection rate in fulfillment of Proposition 218 notice requirements (and pending Council authorization for the notice).
